Happy Thanksgiving

I want to wish you all a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

During the holiday season it's hard to maintain glucose levels if you are not mindful. It's too bad that we have to worry about it, but for millions it's a fact of life. I'm not here to burst your bubble, but to help you keep in mind it's OK to taste some of our favorite foods.

Keep those high-carb foods to a minimum and choose wisely. I have some recipes that I posted last year that are still in my article section, desserts too. And, I added two new recipes for this year.

I spent a little time in the kitchen looking to do something with artichokes. When we were grocery shopping, I passed by the Spinach and Artichoke Dip...that gave me a great idea!
Now, my husband would never try artichokes, he didn't like the look of them. He really loved this recipe. It can be used as a side dish or as an appetizer.
