Don't be a diabetes statistic! Take control of your diabetes, possibly turn it around like I did.

The fact is, more and more people are making drastic improvements in their diabetes and prediabetes. Here are comments from elated customers:

Is This You?

Looking for a snack?

Do you do this? Poke your head in the cabinets and refrigerator looking to satisfy your need for a snack? As you see, this happens to most all of us at some point, even our cat, Jake.

Don’t feel bad. Don’t chastise yourself. Just think about why you feel this way. Are you actually hungry? Bored? Frustrated? Sad?

Did you know that processed foods can play a large part in our need to snack?

The best way to tackle this may sound drastic – remove unhealthy snack items from your home. You can’t eat something you don’t have.

Walk Away from High Glucose Levels

Walk. As long as you have the ability to walk, you can do so much to help your high glucose levels. You don’t need to be a fitness bug. Put on comfortable walking shoes and go!

The “I can’t walk,” excuses:

  • I have to walk 45 – 60 minutes to gain results
  • It’s too hot outside
  • It’s too cold outside
  • It’s too boring
  • I have to go alone
  • I don’t have time

Sound familiar?

Let’s dispel these excuses and get you on your feet.

Check your Glucose Meter!

The danger of your glucose meter

It’s important to know that more than likely, your meter is not going to provide the exact same measurement as a venous draw from your arm. How important is this?

Not so much an issue if your glucose is above 85. Generally, a glucose level below 70 is considered as hypoglycemia.[1] If your glucose is too low, do you have the following symptoms (not all inclusive)?

Feeling Itchy?

If you have itchy skin did you know it could be due to your diabetes, the medication you are taking, or possibly from food? It’s time to take care of it. Scratching may feel good for the first few seconds. Breaking your skin can leave you susceptible for infection. With consistently high glucose levels, you may not heal properly.
It’s time to find out what is causing this issue.
